Services provided through the NDIS assist people with disabilities to pursue a life of their choice, with dignity.
MRH is a Registered Provider and we can support participants across the three types of support budgets in a NDIS package.
1. Core Budget - includes supports to help you complete activities related to daily living and work towards your longer-term goals
2. Capacity Building Budget - includes supports to enable you to build your independence and skills
3. Capital budget - includes assistive technologies, equipment and home or vehicle modifications, and funding for capital costs you may need (eg: motorised wheelchair or pressure care)
Some of the services offered by our supportive staff include:
Allied Health: occupational therapy, physiotherapy, dietetics, podiatry, exercise physiology, psychology, continence assessments and support, paediatric speech pathology and paediatric psychology
Access to Community: assisting you to maintain and strengthen relationships. Building social and community participation skills, including employment or return to study
Personal Assistance: help with daily living and personal care including sleep overs
Lifestyle Enhancement Program in the community: developing friendships and ensuring you stay connected to your community
Cooking Programs: – In our specially designed kitchen at MRH, either individually or in a group
We have after hours and school holiday appointments. Waiting periods may apply for some services.
Update: Support workers for 'Access to the community' week day; evening and weekend and Assistance with Self Care' weekday; weekend and evening are currently available. Please call the NDIS intake team to discuss your service needs.
Macedon Ranges Health can provide allied health support including: occupational therapist, speech pathologist, physiotherapist; exercise physiology, continence nurse, dietitian, podiatrist; psychologist. We provide support in your home or community.
Who can access this service? You have current NDIS plan.
All our NDIS Services are charged at the current NDIS Price guide rates. For example: Physiotherapy; Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy are charged at $179.26 per hour.
Pricing Update - The new NDIS Price guide 2019-2020 will come into effect on July 1st 2019. Price increases for allied health services and access to the community services will be listed on this web page as soon as they become available.

What is the National Disability Insurance Scheme?
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (known as the NDIS) is a national Government initiative for people living with a permanent and significant disability. The scheme provides lifelong support, where people have more choice and control over how they receive services. Supports may include allied health and therapy services, equipment, personal care, domestic help, and getting involved in the community.
