Righteous Pups Australia visit MRH Centre
23 August 2016
The Management Team at MRH were delighted to participate in an interactive leadership program with Righteous Pups Australia. Righteous Pups Australia raise and train assistance dogs to do a variety of practical tasks for children and adults with mobility issues, and to act as companion dogs for the elderly and socially isolated this includes medical alert dogs (seizure alerts and Type 1 diabetes).
They also have a therapy dog program called “Interact”, created for the expressed purpose of increasing the quality of life for children, teens and adults who are at risk, socially isolated and in need of a healthy dose of canine therapy.
We were delighted to meet some of the heroes of the organisation and look forward to working with them in the future through some of our programs and services.
