Macedon Ranges Health (MRH) has won the 2018 Studer Group "Australian Healthcare Organisation of Distinction” Award. Only two organisations in Australia are bestowed this honour each year by the Studer Group which celebrates organisations that perform at an exceptional level and have achieved major improvements in organisational performance.
The Studer Group delivers the internationally renowned Hard Wiring For Excellence (HWE) Program which MRH commenced in 2015. The values based, cultural change program supports health care organisations to enhance access, clinical governance, leadership, employee engagement and financial sustainability.
Since partnering with the Studer Group, MRH has led major improvements and achieved great outcomes in clinical governance, financial performance, accreditation standards, culture, community engagement and general operations.
Mr Ian MacDonald Studer Group CEO said “These achievements are a great testament to the expertise, dedication and commitment of your staff, volunteers, Board and partners. Macedon Ranges Health is on track to have another great year as you continue to provide high quality health, welfare and aged care services to the community”.
A special celebratory morning tea was held for all staff on the 9th February 2018, where Meika Wright from the Studer Group formally presented the award to MRH (photo caption (L-R): Don Tidbury - CEO MRH, Meika Wright - Coach at Studer Group, Alec D'Joneff, President MRH)
