LIfestyle Enhancement Program (LEP)
Community LEP (Lifestyle Enhancement Program) Program
This program provides participants the opportunity to remain socially engaged, meet new people and remain physically active in a supported environment.
The MRH Community LEP offers a range of activities spread across most days of the week and is structured to meet the different needs of participants.
MRH staff work with participants of the program to ensure they get the most out of their participation.
How does MRH achieve this?
- MRH respects and promotes the independence of each participant
- MRH welcomes participant input into planning activities and developing the program.
- MRH actively builds on older people’s strengths, capacity and goals to help them remain independent in their daily living tasks.
Transport and access: Due to limited spaces, where required priority transport is available to people living alone who do not drive. Carers and Family members may be asked to assist with transport to the MRH centre on occasions. MRH have limitations as to distance travelled to pick up participants.
Cost: $8 service fee for most participants. Additional costs for meals can range form $5- 20. MRH staff will provide more information when you start.
